Have you, a family member or neighbour been helped by someone in your local community? It could be as simple as a caring neighbour or a local community project that you or your family has enjoyed. If so, here’s your chance to celebrate their efforts. For the first time, Aire Valley Homes is running its very own Community Awards.

The Awards will take place on Friday 9th April 2010.
The deadline for entries is Friday 5th March 2010.
John Clark, Chief Executive at Aire Valley Homes, said: “I see excellent examples of work done by our residents to improve people’s lives living across the whole Aire Valley Homes area. I want to recognise them by hosting this ceremony and give thanks to the people and projects who work so hard to make a difference. I really look forward to meeting these inspirational individuals.”
A special guest will be announced shortly.

Dance Action Zone Leeds (DAZL) is a community dance project for young people based in South Leeds. A number of groups from DAZL will be performing.
