NOSTALGIA

Over the last 8 months a ‘Nostalgia’ project has been running in the Greater Morley Area, involving our older customers from Morley, Cottingley, East Ardsley, Thorpe and Carlton. The Outer South Area Panel agreed to fund the project with Morley Elderly Action. There have been at least 20 meetings held involving around 50 residents. Their memories and recollections, along with photos and memorabilia of times gone by is being turned into a book which is due to be published early in 2010

IN BLOOM

The Outer South Area Panel know how important the environment is to our customers and we like to think that we can help to make our customers happy by providing large and small amounts of funding to assist them.

We want our estates to be places where you are proud to live and over the last year we have funded many of the In Bloom groups. These include, Methley in Bloom, Woodlesford in Bloom, John O Gaunts in Bloom, Rothwell in Bloom as well as many others.
